A 70-year-old antheral is dormant aft crashing his ATV Saturday nighttime successful the Pontiac, Quebec provincial constabulary say.

First responders were called to the country of the clang connected chemin Richard in the municipality of Alleyn and Cawood, Que., at astir 9 p.m., according to the Sûreté du Québec.

The man's injuries were critical, constabulary told Radio-Canada. He was taken to a infirmary wherever helium was pronounced dead, they said.

Initial reports suggest the ATV had collided with a tree, the SQ said. Their probe is continuing.

The country of the clang is astir 100 kilometres northwest of downtown Ottawa.
