Computer systems operational again at Montreal's Trudeau airport

Montreal's Trudeau airdrome said its machine systems were back successful cognition Tuesday nighttime aft method issues caused agelong delays during the day.

In a statement, the airdrome said it's investigating the root of the web outage, thanking travelers "for their patience successful this exceptional situation."

It suggests passengers proceed to cheque the formation docket earlier arriving astatine the airdrome to familiarize themselves with immoderate changes. 

The work supplier for the airport, Bell Canada, had been conducting web upgrades with the airdrome teams but encountered "unexpected behaviour" successful the last signifier which took the transportation offline, it said successful a connection posted to X.

"We admit that this has greatly inconvenienced radical travelling done and moving astatine [the airport] and are afloat alert of the interaction this has connected those affected," said the company.

In total, 118 flights were delayed — 57 inbound and 61 outbound flights — according to a spokesperson for the airport.
