An 18-year-old antheral is dormant aft hitting a moose with his conveyance portion driving connected the Trans-Canada Highway adjacent Whitbourne, the RCMP said.

Police accidental the clang happened connected Friday, involving a SUV with 2 occupants.

The man, who was the driver, was transported to the Health Sciences Centre successful St. John's. He died connected Tuesday.

The RCMP did not supply details astir the passenger.

The clang was 1 of 3 involving moose on the aforesaid agelong of road connected Friday evening.
